First entry

Welcome to our blog. It has been created mostly so that people who don't live nearby can log in and see what we have been up to (which usually isn't much)

Life is going along as normal here. Same old boring stuff. The exciting news is that I have an interview next week for a full-time job. It hasn't been an easy decision to make, but I really feel ready for this. However, there are only a few types of jobs that I am willing to consider - government being among them, and this is where my interview is for.

It is really good to have people who are in the know about the job :) . I found out yesterday that out of 87 applicants, they have whittled it down to two or three, me being one of them. So, please keep your fingers crossed for me next Wednesday at 11.30am when I will be facing the selection panel for the most intensive interviews I have ever faced.

At the moment, I am extremely excited at the prospect of going out to work. However, I am sure, that if I do get it, the novelty will wear thin after a few weeks. I am sure to miss the kids and especially my boys who are home with me three days a week at the moment.

Emily and Lachlan being nice to one another. Lachlan had just given Emily a kiss on the cheek.

Benji posing for the camera. He wouldn't sit still with the other two, had to have pictures by himself

Emily giving her dad a cuddle on Father's Day.

On that note, it is time to sign off and bake some cookies for our standard Friday afternoon playdate.
